The ultrashort pulse laser is an extremely flexible and at the same time precise tool. Material can be processed with precision down to a few micrometres. This accuracy applies to positioning as well as to the achievable geometry sizes and tolerances. This makes the ultrashort pulse laser the perfect tool for micromachining.
